Sombre Sabre is a rich mix of powerful electronic beats coupled with acoustic drums, the electricity of synths and the warmth of a cleverly distorted guitar. The project was born in November 2016 as a special creation for La Supérette Festival in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Sombre Sabre presented four very hypnotic, industrial and original tracks through an intense live performance after only four short days of song writing.
The band features Luc Hess and Jonathan Nido (Coilguns, Closet Disco Queen). Both well-known musicians amongst the Swiss rock scene, as well as having toured the world with many different acts. Perfectly paired with Gwenaël Magnenat (Isolated Lines) and Gaspard Gigon (Gaspard de La Montagne), both of whom are Swiss electronic music producers, active on Lausanne-based label Creaked.
