An anecdote related to the mix

Most of mix I send to radios and labels tends to be experimental and abstract - not exactly a dance floor focused stuff. That doesn’t mean I am staying away from dance floor; rather, it’s more about having an opportunity to let my audience notice the emptiness, the gap, in those pieces of undance-ful. To put it another way: to understand dance music, one must first understand ambient music. Like yin & yang, form& emptiness, or sex after cigarette.
