An anecdote related to the mix
Well, this mix was quite a hell to record. I had to rent a studio, because I've borrowed my mixer to a friend, and when i got there the guys were late to open up the shop, my sound card was going bananas, and I couldn't records shit, and these CDJ's they had were a f*cking nightmare ! I kept getting that "linked to player with older firmware" warning, with both CDJ's getting into the emergency loop multiple times. Besides that, I was super tight on time, because I only rented it for 2h and I was supposed to record two mixes, one for you and another one for another radio that I was asked for... Eventually I made it work and ended up just recording yours, after a couple of restarts... In the end, I think I managed to deal with it quite well (not without some stress), but there's a section there around 00:25mins where I had to hide stuff a bit with effects... The mix is set in a heterogenous tone, with a plural collection of UK influenced styles, mixing up stuff as Bass, Breakbeat, UK Garage, Grime and so on... If a title would be needed I think that something like "Emergency Mix" would suit it quite well ! Cya, D !
