Why Don't You Believe Me

In Winter 2022, Lausanne-based artist Gregory Poncet unveiled Aphantasia, his debut album under Algebra, showcasing his new synth-pop and intimate folk moniker. To close this chapter, he comes with two stunning versions of "Why Don’t You Believe Me", the first track that appear on the album.

On this last single, Zürich producer Kalabrese twists the track with his magical house and groovy touch offering a subtle remix that perfectly fit both for dancefloors and home listening, while Algebra’s ‘unexpected mix' leaves the algorithms to transform it into a more dance and melodic version. Gregory freely admits this came first as a fortuitous accident and says "this new version is a wonderful journey into Algebra's parallel synthetic universe and completes the original as the flip side of the same coin."
